Prayer from Ezekiel 17&18

Father, thank you for your love. You are our God, and our souls belong to you. Lord, help us not to eat upon the mountains of this adulterous world and not to lift our eyes up to idols.

Help us to live in righteousness, to care for the needy, the poor, and clothe the naked. Help us not to be indifferent to injustices. Empower us to be true and just through the working of the Holy Spirit.

Help us to walk in obedience and will us to do your good pleasure. Help us to remain faithful always. Guide our children through your Spirit, that they may not be violent or shedders of blood. Help them to do your will and to desire to be obedient to you.

Father, we thank you for answering our prayers. Forgive us of all our sins and trespasses, and all iniquities in Jesus' name. Amen.
