Do you have a clear view of Jesus? Or are serving a false Christ and don’t even know it .

Is the Christ you serve powerless, unable to perform miracles and healing? Is the Christ you serve silent, never speaking? Is He powerless against demons? Does He only seek for His children to keep coming to beg for bread, deliverance, and the healing that they need? Has your Jesus given you authority?
We operate as if without authority. Our churches are filled with demon-possessed and sick people. Demons don’t even shriek at our presence. Witches find peace in our sanctuaries. We have reduced Christ to just a man on the Sabbath. What would happen if we saw Him as a Warrior dripped in blood, an Avenger of the brethren, a Commander in the army of the Lord? King Jesus! Wouldn’t that change how we see ourselves as well? We have been given authority!
Christ died so that the Spirit of God would come into us, and so that we could see Him clearly. He gave us all authority and power to trample upon snakes, to cast out demons, to heal, and to spread the Gospel. Many are given the gift of healing, but don’t use it because the Christ we serve only seems to require lifetime Church attendance. Many are called to prophecy, but don’t, and the state of the Church suffers because we have chosen comfort over obedience.
What is your purpose? What is your calling? Are you part of the called only and not the chosen? Who are you in the Kingdom? Could it be that you are hiding in the threshing floor, but are a warrior/hero in the spirit? Could it be that you are preaching, but were called to the food ministry, or finances, church planting, and even intercession.
A false Christ might say all are called to attend Church and sing in the choir and clean the Church for a lifetime. But is that really what you are called to do? Are you an apostle? Do you have the gift of healing? The gift of miracles? Are you a pastor? A teacher? A prophet? A doctor? An accountant? A chef? A mom to a deliverer? A hairstylist that leads many to Christ? Are you in food service? Are you a defender of God’s people?
Where you are called is where you will be effective! Whatever you were called to do, the souls you are meant to reach with your ministry are waiting for you! The sad reality is that we will all have to give account to God for what we did with the gifts He gave us and the people we were supposed to reach but didn’t, because we chose comfort over obedience.
What are you called to do? What is your assignment? The only way to know is not through regular Church attendance. I know it would be easy that way. The only way to discover your purpose is to dwell in the secret place, to get a clear view of the Lord. When you genuinely know Jesus, our Shepherd, you will know yourself. Our true purpose is found in the secret place.
